Badger-tec - DONE! Another successful event completed by DeLorean Club!

A massive thank you to Al, Bozzzy, Dan, Suz and Pete for giving up their Sunday and for putting in an absolutely immense effort to help me get VIN11777 back on the road to Belfast!

Massive thanks also to Jay for the parts. Without your kind generosity, we wouldn't have done it! We used the club radiator in the end, so I will return yours to you at Eurotec and replace the other parts.

Finally thank you to everyone else for all of your help and support throughout this whole sorry saga! It was almost this time last week that I was convinced my Eurofest dream was over... and now it is alive once again and VIN11777 will make the ball! There really are not enough words to describe my appreciation for that!

This club and its members are a shining example to other car clubs and are only going to continue to go onwards and upwards from here! I for one am very proud to be a member.

Right, that's it! I am not taking this car out to Sheringham or anywhere else in deepest darkest Norfolk, where wildlife is rife at silly o'clock at least until after Belfast now!

No word of a lie, on my way back from there on Sunday night (well, Monday morning) I had no fewer than 2 cats (one might have even been a fox?!), 2 rabbits run out in front of the car! Not to mention a very lucky hedgehog who may have just got a slight haircut as I passed under it!

That, coupled with my main beam suddenly cutting out and plunging me into complete darkness left me a nervous wreck by the time I got home at 4am!!

Anyway, she's going to the garage today to hopefully get that fuel leak resolved and then apart from a quick check over, replacing the air filter and a quick clean up at the weekend. She'll not be coming out until Belfast! Not taking anymore chances now!
