Right, spoke with the powers that be....

With our stand we get space for 7 cars and 14 passes each day. (children under 5 need no pass)
Price for a car is £60 so thats £30 per head for the whole weekend.
This could be halved if we had substitute cars each day which would bring it down to £15 per head per day. BARGAIN.
Once the pitch is paid for if we don't get 7 cars we could use the passes for those who'd like to attend without car, but to be fair I do hope we can put on a good display of cars. Cars get the first tickets.

We can bring our own chairs and gazebo's (no larger than 3m x 3m), so no extra cost there either.

Lisa & myself are up for the southern show Darren. The northern would be closer, but we are away, so a trip south it is. We will do the whole weekend.

Anyone up for sharing a tent for the Southern one (given that they cost £100 each!)? Not 100% sure if I can make it yet with work but it's a possibility...

Cheers Mike

I'm really looking forwards to seeing your car. :D

TT, don't worry mate your most welcome to come along.

Jez/Mike, the tent business is for "up to" a 4 man, so we share at £25/head on the tent issue ;)

That only leaves 1 space for Carfest South both days (if TT & Jez attend) and another space Saturday only.

So be quick :D

Cheers guy's it all for charidy mate

Just a short update for those thinking of camping rather than B & B etc.

Camping is available on site to display car owners, other visitors are camping off site. (but close by)

The cost for the pitch is £100, BUT that includes a motor home or caravan and there is no size restriction. This applies to tents too.

So I'm tentetively looking at a club motor home, or a whacking great communial tent.

WHERE DID THE TENTS COME FROM AT CALEY HALL that were in the end of the car park....that'd be ideal and we could divide up the space and cost if required?

What'd you think?
