Sorry, was up in Sheffield last weekend but it's a 4+ hour trip each way.

Ok, thought i'd propose a time of 10am so we can get the barriers up before the flock of shoppers on the day, what do you all think?

Of course, for those travelling further and would like to arrive later that's fine, it will be open for when you arrive :)

Having just heard back from the venues manager, here's the important part:

"Barriers we will have in place for around 8am, anyone after the 10am cut off point will have to take their chances in the public car park I’m afraid."

I would advise those wanting to keep their pride and joys away from reach, to get there early. Having said that, there is a very large carpark around that area so I'm sure it would be in view if you were to turn up a bit later on. There will be plenty of us to keep an eye on things if you decide to nip off for food/shopping etc.

If the weather is like the weekend we just had, it was my idea. If it's raining it was Mikes time circuits malfunctioning

Fingers crossed! The thread has had a fair bit of interest, any more names to confirm or will there be a last minute flood based on the weather report the day before? ;)

Just a quick question guys/gals:

Would you be ok with me having a charity bucket for Parkinsons UK? I would allow a few people to take a seat in the car to raise some funds. It was just a last minute thought really, and I guess it will help attract more people to our showing of the best cars ever made (officially) ;) "there goes that word again...official" :?

Sounds like a great idea .. Perhaps we should send them a pic or two of the day and offer our services in the future ?

Just thought I'd check first. I didn't want it looking like the day was focused around it or anything, I'm there for the club meet primarily and if there's too many requests I'll swiftly change the rules ;)

Sounds good mate. He said that any kind of car meet greatly benefits their venue, so I can imagine Deloreans will really get them good crowds/customers.
