#FINISHED# Norfolk EuroTec Autumn Mini-Meet-Up 16th/17th Oct

Postby arranj » Mon Aug 17, 2009 10:03 pm

Hi all.

By popular request we're once again doing a "smaller" meet-up here at *a hotel* in Norfolk - on Friday 16th / Saturday 17th October.

All friends of the club are welcome - owners and non-owners alike - this is all about socialising and meeting new faces (For the next EuroTec (big event) in June 2010 please click here)

Image

As with the highly successful sell-out EuroTec events in 2007, 2008 and 2009, this will be centred around club member, Arran's private hotel. Rather than the 40-car summer events, the focus here is on socialising (the car park will be a bit too cold!). If you've never been before don't be scared! Many people who come to these meet-ups only know one or two others (or less). This is a good way to meet up with like minded people and swap tips, then show them who's boss on the Nintendo Wii! For non-owners there will be more time to ask questions, look around the cars, etc.

Unlike the main June EuroTec event we're still selling rooms to the general public, so we won't have exclusive use of the entire hotel. I would advise booking early, since the Saturday night WILL sell out - you can always cancel with no charge if you need to up to 3 days before.

The Itinerary: (1,2,3,or 4 nights available! - 2 night example shown below)
- Arrive Friday from 12:00 onwards
- Socialise, congratulate those who've braved the cold in their DeLoreans
- Buffet dinner at 8pm-ish
- Beer / Nintendo Wii, etc.
- Sleep
- Saturday - Breakfast
- Hang around car park kicking tyres, etc., wander to the beach
- Buffet lunch in the bar at 1:00
- Leisurely drive out / exploration (mixture of cars)
- Buffet dinner at 8:00
- Beer / Nintendo Wii, etc.
- Sleep
- Sunday - Breakfast
- Go home

Total Price for 2 nights of accommodation and the 5 meals: (dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast):
(these prices are early booking prices and will go up suddenly! Book now to get these prices)

Sharing a double or twin room: £70 total per person (just £35 per person per night! including all meals and Sat lunch!)
Single occupancy of a double room: £90 total (just £45 per room per night! including all meals and Sat lunch!)

ALTERNATIVELY - Price for just the Saturday night with 3 meals: (lunch, dinner, breakfast)
(these prices are early booking prices and will go up suddenly! Book now to get these prices)

Sharing a double or twin room: £50 total per person (subtract £5 if not here for Saturday lunch)
Single occupancy of a double room: £65 total (subtract £5 if not here for Saturday lunch)

YES - THESE PRICES INCLUDE ALL MEALS!

If you would like to extend your stay to include the Thursday and/or Sunday night as well then the extra nights would be just £20 per person per night for B&B only, plus we'll give you 50% discount off of food purchased on these days and the afternoon after. Everyone staying Friday night will also get a 50% discount off of bar food purchased on Friday before 3pm.

If you would like to come along for just the day on Saturday only then you're more than welcome - you'll just have to pay for lunch if you want it (£5 per person). If you would to come along for either evening meal without staying then it would be £15 per person for either night. Please just mention it in this thread if you are going to come along for either day (without staying), or if you have any other questions. If you'd rather not post here  then click here to send a message to Arran now.

All welcome!

hahaha! - Yes, thanks Gez, although some of that stuff is going to difficult to source in Norfolk. Most of it is in stock in DeLorean Club Parts I think :?
