Nope. It was referenced in 'Delorean: Rise and Fall of a Dream Maker' and although it is years since I read it if I remember correctly they explained that it had been taken for a run for stress testing which destroyed it (rear end disintegrated). It was left it at the side of the road with no plans to rebuild it.... Now, whether someone else rescued and rebuilt it is a whole different story ;)

They are great little cars, fantastic fun & dead cheap atm, but watch out for the rust, boy can they rot & in places that you'd not expect as well
