Hi everyone, I've just booked into this and really looking forward to seeing all the cars and meeting you all over the weekend. Can I just ask which car park people are going to use as I'm going to bring my car (Non-DeLorean) so we can get round all the events. Also if anyone is flying in and needs picked up from the city airport, I can help.

we've had a few failures/ non runners already, and judging by the general reliability of a Delorean, I for one is more worried about driving to Liverpool than doing my own tax return, so if other owners feel the same way I do, I hope you have a mini bus.

I think I might pack my tool kits in the car just in case then haha. If I was on the other side of the water now, I would be more than happy to help out.

Always advisable to pack an emergency tool kit in the car with you. Of course, it's hard to determine WHAT is describable as being an emergency tool, because you can't cover ALL basis of need, but perhaps just the most likely that might come in useful to save you from recovery. No point carrying an amazing tool which can save you from recovery, but it in order to do so, it still requires you to be able to get right under the car in beside the fuel accumulator or requires you to jack up the front or rear of the car and remove wheels etc. Saying that though, some people are amazing at bringing things like ramps if they know other people can cover them for other tools they don't/can't bring!

I am traveling out with mec in his delorean and will be sharing a cabin with tt, jason and andy on the ferry. I am coming home sunday via easyjet so there is a spare cabin going for the return leg if anyone wants it and doesn't mind sharing with jason

A few guy’s have asked if I’m going to Eurofest this year. Unfortunately with work commitments I’m not able to get over this year. Really disappointed as it’s going to be a great event.
However, the good news is that I’ve just finished another batch of D.C. Shed Industries door strut mount repair kits.



These are going over with Arran to Belfast for sale at Eurofest.

As per the last batch I do not take a single penny for these. The purchase price goes into the Club Funds and Charity only for the benefit of those in need.
I’ve improved the design and got the manufacture time down to 5 hours a pair now.
They come in SOLID 316 stainless with full pictorial instructions and are pre assembled with anti seize grease.



Please contact Arran if you really need a set to repair a damaged tub where stock parts no longer have anywhere solid to attach. Please don’t buy them if you intend to sit on them for a rainy day. The idea is that I make them for owners who generally have a problem and the funds go to charity in return. As I said earlier I don’t want any payment, my reward is the goodwill I get from helping others. But if you ever fancy buying me a beer (or Coffee if my medication won’t allow beer) please feel free!
