Hi arran,

Thanks for this. Sounds great. I have no problem with parking off site, as long as the car park is secure and staffed.

Boat wouldbe fun, hotel probably more comfortable, practical, quiet, easy etc. But will go with majority.

Cheers, a

I'm booking my flight tonight arriving on the 3rd. Travelling with a mate and staying with another mate close to Ed's.

As a new Delorean owner it will be great to meet up with you guys for the first time.

I look like this ... but won't have the guitar with me!!!

Hi Spud, Ed is away this week, I will phone him and firm up the details with him next week. There aren't many of us going, but basically the plan is to do lunch with Ed near his place - so will do a "factory tour" either side of lunch. Timings will be up to him a little bit - I will try and convince him we're going to spend a lot of money ;)

On that note, I am bringing a van load of stuff back, so if anyone has any requests, just let me know - no need for any money up front or anything - just a list of part numbers, I bring them back, then let you know - if you still want it then I will have it - if you don't it will go on the website for sale, so no commitment.

Will work out details when Ed gets back. Hotel is booked in Amsterdam now finally, so we're half way there!

OK - have spoken with Ed - he will firm up details a lot nearer the time (this is the Dutch way ;) ) - but essentially we are meeting at his place (or very near it) at about 1pm (their time) - going straight for lunch, then a bit of stuff at the "shop", and perhaps some other activities. It is all quite flexible. When does your flight land Kevin? How are you getting from the airport to Ed's?

Hi Arran
My flight arrives 9:20 - only hand baggage so would expect to clear arrivals by 10:00 My friend (who I'm staying with) advises that there is a direct train to Hoorn every 30 minutes. It takes about 35 mins to Hoorn. My mate lives 10 minutes walk from Hoorn station. He says that he lives 10 minutes from Eds - so I should be pretty near to Eds .
If everything runs to schedule I should make 1:00 at Eds.
Will defo e mail you tonight re parts :-)
Kevin
(PS it looks like I will also need a fan shroud in addition to the fan cowl ) .. as I say, will e mail you on that.

.... can't seem to edit the above ???
My mate lives near Hoorn train station.

Ed's is nearer the "other" Hoorn station at Hoorn Kersenboogerd - 8.3 KM / 5miles
Probably able to get to that station between 11 - 12:00.

Good time had by all I rekon. Nice to meet Kev (spudmurphy) finally.
Ed was very hospitable, as you'd expect. For those who have not been, he has a really nice set up, there was probably 10 or so cars there being worked on.
Came back with a van packed with spares, so all of you needing parts can get ordering, I think Arran has pretty much everything you'll want.
