Great event, thanks again to Arran and co for organising it all. It has given me some inspiration to get my car back together and on the road again

Many thanks to Alex Canini and Dan Shane for their help in changing my catastrophically failed water pump.

It was only a few years ago that if this happened you were doomed but not anymore.

Slight thread deviation: how much of a ballache is it changing a water pump? Bad, isn't it?

I have my suspicions over a dodgy bearing on mine...

It's not to bad a job as long as you have all the parts and a supply of good quality jubilee clips ;)

For a ballache try an Esprit's or an Elise's!

Yeh another top weekend. I thought the venue was sound, should work out fine, if they sort just a few minor things.
Thanks to Mec for the lift to Halfrauds when my battery died. Roll on the next one

Although I was only there for a day, it was great to say hello to all again and to get to use the excellent clamp/ multimeter Al got for me :)

Also thanks to Mec for detailing my daily car (that was in exchange for fixing his central locking module) and for doing such a great job that it's now true that you can Polish a tu...

The next meet can't come soon enough :D

How far down to the valley do you have to go to get to it?

Very fine spray of water comes up occasionally from around the pulley area, possible suspect bearing?
