On the Fri evening we will be doing something different!

We are off out for a curry in Kings Lynn at a restaurant called Masala Hut - it’s owned by my friends father and was opened earlier this year.

Minibuses have been arranged to take us to the restaurant at 7.15 and returning back to hotel at 9.45.

It’s about 8-10 mins from hotel.

The club will cover the cost of the minibus hire.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, at this time I'm doubtful to attend.

My Grandad is gravely ill and is receiving end of life care after a long battle with Parkinson's... It’s sadly now a question of when, not if and we expect he will not be with us in 48 hours time, but who really knows?

As you can imagine it's hit the family all very hard and right now we need to rally around and support my Nanny as well as each other at this difficult time.

Was really looking forward to seeing everyone again and having a proper catch up, but at this moment in time I don't think my head will be in the right place...

I hope you all have a great time as always and will catch up very soon. x

Really sorry to hear that news Carl, my thoughts are with you and your family, hopefully you can make the next one with your car !!! Lol

This will be the first club event I've missed, so pretty gutted but I know it's the right thing to do at this time...

I'll be at the next one, with the car back on the road, no excuses! Also planning on Germany next year too!

I'm also thinking of doing some kind of fundraising (possibly a sponsored skydive) to raise money towards Parkinson's, which will have now taken both my Grandad's and is something very close to home now... I see it as a way of turning a negative into a positive outcome and honouring their memories...

That sounds like a very good idea to me mate, I admire your outlook on it, Great to hear your doing Germany, that's whats I'm aiming to get mine done for and so is Dan with his so should be a good road-trip !!

Well I was planning on coming up today to spend the day with you splendid people but events have conspired against me.

I discovered that the MOT and Insurance for the D both expired in the week so got up at the crack of dawn (lovely girl) to run-around and get that sorted only to have 2 members of staff ring in sick, so now I have to work the pub.
