That was a good bit of tinkering and I will be doing to same adjustments to my own car with the useful tips passed on from Nick

Thanks to the organizers for a great weekend good to meet up with everyone. Our car was stuttering for the first 10 miles which I put down to the overnight rain. After that was great with no issues and around 30mpg. Extremely wet on the A1 travelling north but held the road fine.

Great to see everyone again at the weekend. Holly really enjoyed her first meet and said everyone was lovely.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped me with my roofbox repair on Saturday, Mike K, JRG, and a special mention to Alex and MEC for being the brave volunteers to drill the holes in my car! I actually think they enjoyed it a little too much the way they kept passing the drill back and forth to each other!!

Anyway, it was a real team effort and quite an achievement considering it didn’t seem a possible task at one point. I guess if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything! Still have some touching up to do on parts of the roof to ensure it’s sealed and watertight, but the main thing is it’s (hopefully) prevented any near disasters with torsion bars in the future!

We’ll both be back in March!

The 100 dollars me and Miles won each from the film crew quiz was a bonus! Should be on TV in Feb... they had also been filming with Jordan Livingstone in San Francisco

The TV programme is called Expedition Unknown and will air next year with some of us on the programme
