Just been announced. Pop Up Pictures presents ‘Back to the Future’ at The Royal Norfolk Showground.

Friday 10th July (8pm to 11pm)

This is heavy. I have spoken to the organisers, mentioning that we can potentially bring a few cars to display at this event.

They are willing to offer in return:

I think i may be working sadly but even if i could make it, i dont think my car could at present. Im starting to suspect a bad head gasket

Im not 100% but Ive bought a test kit in case im just being paranoid. Ive got to do some other jobs like sort a vac leak, change injectors, fit new exhaust and attempt to change the crankshaft seals. All that may be whats causing my problems where the exhaust is getting really hot. Engine temp (according to the guage) reads ok but the coolant and oil are damn hot and the fans do nothing but keep the temp at the same level.

Im seeing white smoke leaking through the header gaskets and the odd bubble in the coolant tank. Im hoping im running lean/rich and have a little air still trapped in the system.

Ive just booked that week off work so if i can sort out the issues im having (as long as its not a head gasket) then i will be there. So i have about 6 days to sort it out. Ive put in an order with arran which should arrive tomorrow.

Chris and I enjoyed ourselves last night. DeLorean had no issues. And made a bunch of people happy posing with the car.

Pretty sure there is a BTTF screening at the Colchester Drive in Cinema in a few weeks time too.
