Ack, I thought you were getting away with it.... its a tricky one you know whoever sees it will look closely and I suspect whilst 90 percent of plods will actually not care about it but probably 90 percent will be worried about folk claiming they didn't enforce, especially with so much camera work and social media nowadays.

From April 1st 2020, vehicles manufactured before April 1980 can display a classic black and silver number plate - registrations ending with 'T' or anything before. The 40 year tax exemption date rolls forward automatically each year on April 1st.
