I think Alex and Tom Denny are bringing their D’s and I was going to convoy with them in mine. Maybe that’s not such a good idea if we want to be discreet, especially with Alex’s custom exhaust! :D

The hotel is pretty secluded, so we shouldn’t really attract any attention if we behave ourselves.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. :)

I agree with Arran and would suggest leaving the D's at home this time. It only takes one person to take umbrage.

By my count (here and other group chats) 8 cars due to attend so far, and the DeLorean isn't exactly the most inconspicuous thing in the world...

8 wouldn't be the end of the world if that's what it was. Just a case of dotting them around the car park, rather than having it look like a "car meet" that's all. A few broken ones would be good - we still need something to do after all ;)

I do agree about not drawing attention. My issue is our other car is required for school runs and the like. So what I’ll do is come up later, leaving post 3pm, should arrive between 5 & 6pm. See you there

I know 2 of them need the standard tune up work, ignition timing/fuel pressure testing/mixture adjustment.

I’m not sure if my car needs any of the above, it seems to run well without misfiring. I’m possibly needing an air/fuel mixture adjustment as it seems to be running rich after changing the hoses/banjos recently. Is that a thing?

Would someone be willing to give mine the once over and perhaps show me what to look out for and how I can go about doing this myself in the future please? :)

I’ll be taking the D, a few people may want to hear the new exhaust :D

I really don’t think there will be an issue with the cars/meet as you can have thousands of people in stadiums etc, so why is a small group of people an issue? Not to mention how secluded the hotel is.

It's the hotel who will get fined if, say, someone catches 8 people sat at a table, for instance, so it's just feasibly possible they might get a bit jumpy and worried. As long as everyone is respectful of the hotel's presumed concerns and we make it clear to them we aren't a mob of rabid youths I'm sure we'll all be fine.
