Good people, last year my girl friend, the lovely Alexandra who snores and won't let me kick her back door inn, she has a close friend whose little girl, Indee, died from a brain tumoir at the age of 3. Well, since then her family have set up the Indee Rose trust and they put together boxes which have goodies in for Terminally ill children of the same condition as Indee. The boxes can cost up to around £400 depending how old the child is, if it's a baby then they are relatively cheap as they have toys and activites in so they are more comfortable during there last days. The older children like early teenagers they put in Nintendo DS's plus games that the child might like.
Alex, my daughter and her fat friend done a charity walk around Canvey Island last year, and they were all dressed in pink for the occasion. I believe they are now a registered charity and have raised around £15k so far, but the funds are diminishing fast, so I was hoping I could persuade some of you good people to come to Canvey, which also happens to be the home of PJ Grady UK on a nice weekend in the summer so we could take people out for rides in exchange for a donation. I haven't a weekend in mind yet, but maybe one that is amicable for most, and I thought maybe come down for the Saturday night, Tony and I could take you down our favourite pub, The Forresters which is also suitable for the DWAG's and then go for this drive on the Sunday. Now, if you can offer your services make sure your Tetnus is up to date because after all, we will be on Canvey! They are slighty mutated and interbred on there, so be warned!!!
On a serious note, I on behalf of the Indee Rose trust would be very grateful for any assistance with fund raising. There is a facebook page as well that has more in depth details with regards to the trust. If any of you good people have any idea's for dates or activities they would be very welcome, many thanks, J
