Thu 13 May DAY-1

Feel free to join anytime, a lunch is waiting for travelers. Some of you drove from Swiss, Italy or England, so enjoy a good rest… and our now-famous beer machine. It’s time to meet good old friends, make new ones, go to the beach or start working on cars.
We expect BTTF and K.I.T.T. replicas this year.

We’ll have dinner at a restaurant.( 25€)

Fri 14 May

TECH SESSION !!
Coffee and french croissants are waiting for you for breakfast. Don’t forget your suncream nor your sense of humor and your tech skills to survive this long day. It’s time to share your knowledge, help each other or swap parts. But enjoy the beach or the hammock anytime !
We’ll have a BBQ for lunch.
At 8pm, we’ll have Live music with a local pop-rock band, « the SmallTownSurfers », as we get diner in the garden. Don’t forget your guitars too (wink to Al …….)

Sat 15 May

This is our « discovery & nature » special day.
Breakfast at home with coffee and croissants. We’ll start in the morning to a great lake where boatmen wil take the group through the discovery of a very unique site, nicknamed “the little amazony”. You will cruise for 2 hours through a nice wildlife reserve featuring unique species, between the lake and the ocean.
We”ll have lunch at a restaurant by the lakeshore. (18€)
Just after we will visit a chocolate factory. Noir http://www.letalon-noir.com/
Then we will be awaited to a farm, where you will see traditional way of force-feeding ducks and making of our famous “foie gras”.

All activities this day are NOT included in the registration fee. Price is only 11€ for the whole tour.

Back to our main site, we’ll have some aperitive ….. again….. before diner to another restaurant on the waterfront. (25€).

Sun 16 May

Survivors are awaited for breakfast at home
Feel free to go surfing if you want ( hey! The best waves come in the morning…), cause we are not in a hurry today.
The big BBQ will give way to our traditional Family-Picture with all cars and people, and local press, before the first of you start to hit the road again.
The rest of the day … attendees will decide ! we can go for a drive through the ‘pays Basque’, Biarritz and the ocean shore, or drive direct to SanSebastian in Spain where we enjoy Tapas and Latina heat.

Enjoy your stay.

WARNING. Since beds and seats are limited in B&B’s or restaurants, I had to fix a limit in registrations. So don’t wait to get registered !!

Please register with our online form. You will get confirmation by electronic and postal mail.
Payment is required as soon as possible. Paypal is OK for foreigners.

Registration fee is 73€ with paypal, for 4 days. Included are :

- Breakfasts ( coffee and croissants, bread …)
- Lunches ( 1 cold meal + 3 BBQ’s )
- Coffee and drinks all day ( free refill lol including BEER ! no joke )
- A welcome gift.
- Live Music Concert.

NOT included are ; Saturday tour (11€), restaurants and lodging.

- B&B’s offer 14 single beds and 7 queen beds for only 15€/ea/night. Single guys go traditionally to our beloved wooden B&B, nicknamed “the gay house” ( first night is free… but it’s the most difficult loool ). Hurry up! Beds are limited….
- For couples, we have another house with queen beds ;)
- The local **** Camp site offers Mobil-homes at a fair rate. http://www.sen-yan.com Website in any language. ***THIS IS THE NEAREST OPTION***
- You will find B&B and hotels in town http://www.ot-mezos.fr/hebergement.htm
- http://www.hotel-mezos.com/
- If you prefer to camp in the yard …. You are welcome ! it’s free. Beware of hogs and deers , though….

I would propose Thursday - Sunday (3 nights) is what we should aim for. Either we can fly, or drive the 750+ miles

Sounds like a good event to go to! This is on: http://www.delorean.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3168 too (en francais).

I have been helping Al out with translation services, and looked into the accommodation options. So it would be a good idea now to see who is interested, and we can go from there.

This is where it is: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=dino%20mezos
To get there we have 3 options:

- Drive (600 miles from Calais)
- Easyjet to Bordeaux (Luton Thurs 10:15-13:00, back Sun 17:10-17:50) £63 total return - can also go from Gatwick
- Ryanair to Biarritz (Stansted 12:15-15:05, back Sun 15:30-16:20 ) £69 total return

Both airports are about 1 hour away. I'm fairly sure we can organise a lift, or hire a car (as we did in Ireland).

Staying there, the best option seems to be the "mobile homes" one: http://www.sen-yan.com/campsite-landes-rentals.html - this seems to work out at around £20 per person per night based on 4 to a cabin. The "event" itself is based around Raphael's house, which is a very short walk from this place. Although the hotel is an easy walk too.

I think for now, if we just get a load of "yes"s and "no"s on here, then we can go from there, and just do a "bulk EuroTec booking", or whatever. I'm not adverse to driving, but the plane looks tempting..... ;)
