Not in my opinion, given that we all have a "good" (repairable) frame, and it wouldn't cost £2k to get it re-done (even if you sent it to Ed!). But if you look at the first post in this very thread you'll see John D wanted £3k for it, so given that it sold so quickly that time we can assume that the current seller paid close to that for it. Bear in mind you'll be left with a spare frame, and they are pretty rare.

I know Mervyn is planning on selling stainless frames soon-ish. No idea how much they'll be though.

Well the seller was busy cancelling all bids on it then ended the auction early with 3 bids on it !! ...

I would LOVE to see the buyer with it in his garage ...

at was at £560 with 28 minutes to go, I popped to the kitchen to make a cuppa char, and when I come back it had 'prematurely' ended. JJ was not happy, infact I rang the tonmeister and bellowed down the phone about it to him. I did e-mail the guy who was selling it and he replied that the frame was now sold, but for how much????

Hi.

Just wondering if the chassis is still for sale?
I need a new chassis.
Can you help point me in the right direction please?

Regards
