The Desk and Credenza are of high quality solid Walnut. These items are for those collectors of the John De Lorean's unique International story. Did Mr Ed offer any proof that these were from JZD office (which I thought was in NYC btw). Studiously signing checks on the desk perhaps, getting a bottle of whiskey (presuambly Bushmills) out of the credenza even?

How have those pins stayed in that map for 30 years?

My thoughts exactly. It's near impossible to prove these were his unless you can find a photograph with him and then in it or something.
