Yep!
This car belongs to Anthony, a French owner: the frame came in Italy in order to be galvanised and powder coated. Spax suspensions were fitted, as well as poly bushes all around, and so on.
The new engine is a zero miles Lancia spec PRV.
Andrea performed this huge job in a very quick time!

Andrea, that is a great video...I dont think I have ever seen a video of the engine running without the body on.!

How did you get hold of a Lancia PRV?, is there many around?

Anthony has found this zero-miles engine on the net and it was located in Paris.
It wasn’t exactly the same as the Delorean engine: it has no FV for example (so not full-throttle switch), different valve covers (so, in order to fit the Delorean ones, Andrea had to rework them in the inner side so to give clearance enough for the rockers movement) and so on.
Andrea will give you more detailed info for sure! ;)

Sounds like the same sort of grief required to fit the Peugeot variant of the PRV.

Big respect to Andrea

very nice engine indeed :)

the Lancia PRV has the same engine block of the delorean, same liners, still odd-firing with kjet but pistons with 9.5:1 compression... and should be better cams, but i dont have numbers for them.
The heads are for k-jet, but they are not the same delorean one: they are the improved design with the oil bath for the cams: the cast number is the same of the 2.5lt turbo PRVs heads, but with kjet holes opened. Different cams followers also, still mecanical, but like the late renault r25 prvs.

wich need to fit the delorean valve covers a machining on them inside.

This engine will have soon an english exhaust :) and i will be very curious to see how it l run...should be very good

So the Lancia PRV is a 2.8? Any idea of the power it's supposed to make? Off the top of my head I don't know what the compression is on the Volvo B28E, conceivably it's similar to that?

yes, it's a 2.8lt. factory spec was 150hp. the compression should be similar to the b28e. only main difference should be the heads, i think.
