Those pistons look great, and the calipers too. Feels good, doesn't it?

To make it even more Chistmacy....

To close this Christmas eve sweetly I will add the images of the stuff I picked up from a local auto interior leather shop.
Had my binnacle, handbrake and steering canopy dressed up with a gray leather to match the rest of the interior.

Binnacle was improved with a thin sponge under the leather, to cover the cracks and give it a soft feel!

Hand brake or emergency brake for some...

Canopy

and had floor mats replicas made on which I will add the DMC emblem additionally. Cool that hey added some Velcro underneath to keep em from sliding!

All in all 120 USD.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

Cheers mates

To straighten out the top binnacle lip from the sun warping and ho have it look aligned with the speedo later on, I have put some pressure on it.
Can't use the heat gun cause it would most probably burn the leather cover.

Refurbished binnacle and full led speedo is back where it belongs...
Reassembly era has begun a few days short to the new year.
Image

Refurbishing the used glove box and placed that back in its position as well.
Image

and had he door straps redone by enforcing them internally. Added a strap to avoid those cracks and rips when pulling on that plain fake leather....

Left is the new, right is the DMC stock.

Installed all refurbished speakers today. What a ridiculously hard job it is to get the front speakers screwed in again!!!!!!!!
The Speaker magnet keeps pulling that tine 7mm bold off your finger and the space is way to small to put in two fingers and keep a hold of the bolt! Then you try it with a tool and it is being pulled away all the time by the magnet!!!!!!!!!! After that I need to go to church and confess... "Bless be father as I have cursed everything on this planet!"

Then I removed the lambda counter and reset it.
Image
That two holed cylinder is where you get it done.
All you need is a tool to grab it with and start turning it until in goes back to zero. Works just like the speedo's resetting knob works.
Image

voila

- get a 1/4" socket wrench with long solid extension
- get a Petzl headlamp or similar
- take a 7mm socket
- insert fucking nut into socket
- use fucking tape to stick the sucker down
- punch a little freaking hole in the tape so the bloody bolt can get in
- lie on your back in the cunt car with your headlamp on
- guide the socket wrench towards the bolt with two fucking hands
- screw it, on or screw it and let Tony do it.

Ps. He's much better at swearing anyway.

Pps. Use tape to hold the nut

Thank Rob! Already tackled that job. Got a lot out of my system with swearing and it always helps me getting the fucking jobs done! Haha
