Tightened up the LH front wheel bearing. There was about 0.1mm play on it. With the torque wrench I managed to snug it up to 170Nm by only turning it 90 degrees.

I also lowered the rear spax about another centimeter.

Testdrive was great - i found a little bumpy back road to check out the differences. All fine now.

Yesterday was an amazing autumn drive with the DCN club.

It was a hot day at slow speeds and the clutch started to disengage hard (expanding clutch line).

Another thing was went I came off the highway, on the bottom of the exit (strong braking), there was something fishy going on. The car sounded like stalling. The voltage indicator dropped below 13 volts, oil warning light flickered for half a second. I had the lights on, the airco on and the radio on, including iPhone charger. After quickly turning off the aircon (fans) everything went back to normal. Temperature was rocksolid, plenty of coolant, plenty of oil

I didn't happen again (or ever for that matter) but I wanted to log it before I forget.

sounds like you were a little low on fuel and you got an airlock in the fueling system momentarily while braking hard :D

In preparation for winter I've made an unsorted lists of things to do.

- Replace clutch line (ordered)
- Drain and refill engine oil
- Replace oil pressure sender
- Replace clutch slave cylinder
- Clean out VOD
- Replace LH valve cover gasket (since that started to leak as well)
- Replace flexi brake lines (ordered)
- Install convex mirrors
- Repair left hand lower door trim
- Repair door strut brackets
- Replace escrutcheons
- Replace vacuum hoses
- Replace all water hoses with silicone ones
- Replace wheel bearings (front first)
- Install new fuel pump boot and cover
- Install inertia switch
- Repair remote door lock module
- Clean up radio wiring (take out the old connectors)
- Clean carpets by taking them out
- Clean up seat rails
- Remove old smelly stuffy broken foam in the rear parcel shelf
- Install some basic sound proofing in back wall, firewall and parcel shelf
- Maybe i will even be able to replace the windscreen in spring! (yes I smartly planned that *after* all work is done)

I thing I'll be busy!
