Hope to get it into the drive for more space/ ventilation. Will try to get photos then.

And thanks again Arran!

Project 2456- Matthew Nickels, Lisburn, NI

Spent today sorting out the electrical gremlins. Still some to sort but started cleaning up the interior, put a temporary cover on the drivers seat and got my Craig radio pumping out the tunes. Drivers side carpets removed and cleaned as best as possible. I also fed the leather that is still usable to make it look a bit healthier. I am missing the carpet that goes behind the seats if anyone know where I can get this part only.

Is there a trick to getting the rubber that goes around the vents on correctly? They are out of shape as they were not fitted correctly when I removed them.

Off out for a well earned meal now and may head out to the garage again after.

Those rubbers are are a right pain I think it was just time and perseverance in the end, maybe I think I joined both onto the heater box first then one at a time without the stereo in

You can't fit the vents back in if they are on there first but then can't get them on the vents when they are fitted to the heater box!!!

Is there a particular screw size for interior panel trim? ie steering column cowling and various leather pads.

Have you tried silicone spray on the boots, might help them go on easier

The issue is they have been crushed up behind the vents since the radio was changed god knows how long ago. They are therefore out of shape

€15 I think so maybe an investment has to be made for more efficient air flow!

A few photos of my temporary interior. Definately better than it was.
