After countless hours of cleaning, cutting, patching welding smoothing out and painting the frame is finally done!!!!

what paint did you use ?

Special frame paint with anti corrosion shield. That paint would even grasp on a rusty surface. Kinda like those hammerite paints. But this is especially for frames to withstand high temperatures.

Started adding components onto the frame.
Camera is back working again so no more Iphone photos:)

First was the Gearbox shifting linkage

Next were the brake lines.
I had them redone and added a transparent silicone tubing to help me bend them without snapping, Plus it adds protection from corners and rubbing against the frame.

Couple more steps achieved...

Cleaned my radiator and fixed a couple broken bolts.


Another cross used part from a European car.... But I guess ya'll knew that already....


Finished installing the steering rack.... What a pain to get it back in! Took me over 3 hours to get the bushings in place...

Complete rear system with SPAX shocks. New bushings and all black powder coated.
I know you fellas prefer the radius arm stock gray, But I preferred the powder coated solutions and the black color matching the rest of the set up keeping the X frame at its unique gray.

Continued for an hour what I left off yesterday.

Both radiators refurbished


pimped up the Y pipe in he VOD. Yes it's blue like the crystal waters of the Greek oceans! :p
Actually all cooling pipings are going to be blue. Feng Sui to keep the Delo cooled in the Greek summers


Finally dragged the tranny onto the operating table to check that 2nd gear pin as well as change all gaskets, o-rings and seals

a couple of hours work, mounted the calipers after refurbishing them with handbrake assy and pads.
They are next to be placed on the frame.







and I drove my refurbished rims to put the tires back on.
