Mounted my custom made illuminated door sills!

Looks so much better in full wording DeLorean than plain DMC!
And all that led and brushed stainless!!!

Today's tackling'
Alright.... Here is the effort of replacing the solenoid with the actuator
http://www.deloreaneurotec.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4240#p56025

Then added a couple of actuators for a wings-a-loff replication to open the doors with a remote control

What have I done today?

Best I could.... Considering I am 200 miles away from my project 5992....

I took the opportunity this being my last holiday at this paradise in the Kyllini beach resort.....

I left a land mark for others to understand and for you to appreciate
;)

actually this was the second one I made.

The first was erased by a wave while I was at "D"....

It's been carved to eternity by the photos:)

What an incredible restoration. I would not have the skills or space to do what you have done. Although basic vehicle maintenance is just with in my grasp it has been over 10 years since I stripped an engine out of a car, and even this was at college. So to see what you have done makes me feel ashamed I never went anywhere with what I have learnt but most of that has now been lost in the dusty archives of my brain.

That is a quite overwhelming compliment buddy. But as grass seems greener on the other side, like wise my work seems like impossible to make.

Trust me.... there have been (plenty) times I looked at the D in pieces... wondering to my self "What the hell am I doing?"

Mistakes DO happen and they cost. All other things just fall in place.... or may take longer to figure out that they actually should.

The brain just hides data not currently useful. I am sure your knowledge is there waiting to come out one way or another :)

Sunny greetings from athens

I remember an old saying my grandad taught me. "The grass seems greener on the other side, because there's more shit thrown over it" :D

The relationship with the D is up and down. Unlike a relationship with your other half, you can't throw a cover over it and forget about it for a month or two !
