And after.. mine s the mark 1 version of this exhaust so its been through the milll
3 of the mounting holes on one of the manifold branches had split broken off so that had to be re welded and re drilled plus skimming the header flat as it was as 'flat' as a bog road lol

Gave the wiper delay module bracket a tidy up while the the seering column was out. Suprising amount of rust for a part being inside

The main harness needs some attention, a mammoth job but has to be done. Some funky relay connections and ghost wires revelaing themselves to go no where .

Try to and clean up the fuse box and relay compartments as a start

The relay panels were blasted up and then painted to give them a bit of a fresh up and hopey smell better to .

While i had the access removed the heater matrix to make sure the cores were good .. gives a lot better view of how the harness is routed

Bad but not to bad , foam missing and some sticky rusty flaps. Both Heater cores seem ok both will be tested to make sure.
Same with the vac diaphrams

The fresh air flap door looking a bit rusty.. so got that one first, the vac diaphram is good on that and is working correctly. De rusted it, and re foamed it should be good
