Woohoo, i've installed Dave McKeen's new Dome Delay module, and it works! (not the first time though, doesn't work with neon inverters)

Parts came in! Christmas surely has come early this year!

Footwell lighting and LCA support brackets installed. Ball joints and bushing set aside for winter maintenance. I might need to tackle the rear suspension by then.. I wonder if it will ever be finished!

Yesterday I took the D for a spin to check out the LCA supports. The difference under braking and cornering is amazing.

But I seriously need to take them out again to fix the instability with the other bits. I need to change the regular LCA bushings and the lower ball joint on the LH side. Check tyre pressure, and possible a realign on the front. Parts are in-da-house, just need to find time to install.

The weather is just effin' brilliant (borrowed that term). Might be a good time to get a head-start on the winter jobs this weekend...

Also, my subwoofer order got delayed because of back-orders.

In my attempts to do useless things today, I tried to fasten my passenger seat adjustment knob. But I could not get it loose. there seems to be a plastic panel inside the thing. I tried putting a screwdriver in but this ended in a scratched part.

How does one get the adjuster removed without damage?

I seem to remember having to use a suction cup to pull out the cover, then you can get to the nut behind it.

Tried to finish up the front suspension. Hard luck. Two of the locking nuts I used to double up for the torsion bar bolts slipped from my fingers into beam of the frame (inside the crumple zones). And with no spares, and the shops closed, i will have to wait until tomorrow to fix it.

Note to self: Learn to do helicoils or welding.

When I did mine Rob I managed to get the lower arms on and off without removing the roll bar, because like you I have nuts inside the frame rather than relying on the frame threads.
