Here's a little progress on the installation of the first seat cover. I managed to find the energy to get the headrest bit on. I used a sheet of plastic to 'slide' the tight bit over the foam, as Ed suggested to me. Instead of using hog rings, i decided to fix the headrest ribs with tie-raps.

Here you see how they are inserted on the chair, before pulling them tight (top row first of course)

Good idea on the cable ties.

Watch out when you cut the aperture for the side button,

The fcukwit PO of my car in the US cut a bit too much...

All I can say is that is the WORST job to do on the D and Rob you have overcome the greatest obstacle with a cookie in one hand!

Below is what was accomplished during the weekend. Almost did one chair. I still need to tighten the backseat ribs (should've used tie raps, i'd be done by now), so the back cover can be reinstalled.

Thanks to the warning/advice on cutting the hole for the seat handle, i did a perfect job on that bit.
