Oh yes right. Well to be honest I hate the sun anyways so I usually enjoy my winters. North Europa has a rather balanced climate with the appropriate amount of sun. Our 9 month sunshine is a pain. So in your current situation you must be happy living in the Netherlands!

I believe you have been through worse than avoid the sun for a while.

Plus, the sun makes you sweat when you drink beer!

Cleared the todo list, and then there comes the emptiness.

I wouldn't go as far as buying another D...

Yeah kind of. But it is not the car's fault.

Wow. wow. wow wow wow.

I'm still buzzed. A few days ago, I opened up 'shop' for my DeClock project. I tried to show the product as good as i could, video's, pictures, pretty words etc. All in good hope to sell a few more clocks than just three.

Only 2 days of sale remain, and the response has been awesome. They might even get sold out! I'm really very proud of all this. I'm very close to selling all 20.

This stuff takes a lot of work, it is much more than just getting the clock right, there all sorts of related stuff to be done:
- paypal configuration
- website
- product photos
- financial administration
- mail templates design
- blog updates
- forum and facebook advertising
- package selection and design
- responding to customer ideas and questions

My health is still very low, yet this project has been keeping me quite busy so far, and I'm not out of the water yet. It's just starting, i still have got to actually make the clocks.

In closure, today were the last little jobs on the list. One of them was on the list for almost 15 years: installation of the inertia switch.

Getting the drill deep under the dashboard was tricky and took most of my energy. Then crimp 3 pins on the very short remains of a wiring loom (to fix an extension lead to the correct connector) was pretty close to impossible. But I did managed to succeed.

As my good pal Tourettes Tony would have said: "Job done!".
