Will you be putting soundproof lining inside the car? I'm 'dynamting" my car bit by bit at the moment and it would be much better to this with the whole interior dismantled. DMCH do this to all their new builds....

headlight bins and brackets, pedal box and windshield trim piece are back from the powdercoaters.

calipers back from the blasters.

I've also got hold of a pair of stainless hood brackets from Ed and a pair of steering shafts from a chap in SoCal (shafts only cost $90 for the pair and they're in excellent condition - bargin).

plenty to do.

looks like it's 1, 2 7 & 8.

7 i can understand as it's generally considered that most deloreans suffer from this fuse holder melting.

I guess the others perhaps melted because of the proximity in the box?

oh the joy.

No matter how much time i spend on this car nothing seems to get done...

Spent all weekend polishing scratches and scraping old sealant off the doors...

ADMIN bloke, do you think we could do a poll/survey getting our fellow Delorean chums to check their boxes? I'll give a packet of Fruit Polos to the person who has an original box but no melted number 7 (excludes the likes of 'Dusty' that only had 4 miles on it).

My old car was on the original fuse box and all the fuses were fine, there again I serviced the fuse / relays every so often :)

I have an original fuse box with 4 melted fuses. Plus an Admin-bloke® modification to bypass said fuses with non-fuse-box fuse holders 8-)
