Welder coming on Saturday to do the work!!!!

I've been thinking today about fuelling this yoke. I have 3 twin Dell'Orto DRLA 40 carbs. Each needs a 3-3.5 PSI supply. I think I will need a pump, regulator and piping.

Ideally the pump will be halfway between the tank and the engine and below the tank level. It is my understanding that I will then need 2 T-pieces to get 3 supplies (1 for each carb). I am not fully confident on Carbs yet so am not sure on how well this will work.

Here is the pump I am considering http://www.fuelpumpsuk.com/12_volt_compact_fuel_pump.html

Not sure Al.

Not a lot more I can do without the frame done. Today I got the ball joints removed and painted and mounted the alternator. What a job that was, there was a bolt sheared in a mounting hole I needed. I then broke an easy out in it and eventually got it out with a cobalt drill bit.

So the welder is coming tomorrow night to make his shopping list for steel. He is going to repair my towing eye and rust damage as well as fitting reinforcement plates to my control arms.

I am on nightshift next week so all being well after sat I can leave it up to be galvanised and powdercoated.

Eh up buddy

Just bear in mind the Alternator grounds through its mounting bracket so make sure you have bare metal to metal contact somewhere there

Don't know yet to be honest. I don't think it will so may need something fabricated as don't want to hack at the original. Looking at it the standard engine air box sits approx 4 inches above the air con compressor but mine probably sits another 8 inches.
