In March 2008 I bought 2 Deloreans from the US. VIN 2835 a running manual, black interior from Missouri, and VIN 2456 a non running auto with black interior. Circumstances at home meant 2835 had to be sold but 2456 was to undergo a frame off restoration. Here are the photos so far.

As you can see my left cylinder bank rocker cover does not have mounting points for the air con. Is there an alternative or will I strip the stuff I don't need off the old rocker cover and just use it?

You need to swap the rocker cover off your original engine. Looking good though mat
Good to see that engine already has the correct sandwich plate for the delorean on it!

nice photos, still ok for the race lol
What is the problem with the actual engine sump ? The engine mouting point seems correct to me, on your new engine.

The sandwich plate for mounting is fine but the sump on the engine has a cylinder coming from it which would foul on the frame
