To be honest the engine is very photogenic and it doesn't look as good up close when you see the imperfections. I need to learn the art of patience some times.

It looks quick just sitting there...could this be the most eagerly awaited engine transplant in Europe ever?

I've been thinking today about fuelling this yoke. I have 3 twin Dell'Orto DRLA 40 carbs. Each needs a 3-3.5 PSI supply. I think I will need a pump, regulator and piping.

Ideally the pump will be halfway between the tank and the engine and below the tank level. It is my understanding that I will then need 2 T-pieces to get 3 supplies (1 for each carb). I am not fully confident on Carbs yet so am not sure on how well this will work.

Here is the pump I am considering http://www.fuelpumpsuk.com/12_volt_compact_fuel_pump.html

I think you are underestimating the power the delorean will have, the pump you linked to listed usage to a ride on lawn mower, i know they're slow but not that slow

The one i used is very similar to this one, ebay item number 360242902450 . You can mount it 12 vertical inches from the bottom of the tank, i have no idea how deep the tanks are but mine is wedged on top of the tank and plugged into the existing fuel pump wiring. It works fine and feeds my carbs with no problem at all, even on full bore throttle,

hope this helps,
