Not sure why really.

Pauls site is here

http://www.bttfdelorean.com/

I spoke to Paul once as I was trying to negotiate with Martin Fillery on the sale of his car on behalf on James Bourne (Busted) I think Paul put a post on the old Yahoo group we had going.

I eventually set up James Bourne with a viewing on Andy Snell's car (Explodaview) which he subsequently bought.

If Dave Woodyard had believed what I was telling him, its very likely James Bourne would have bought DGS! Now Mr Dan Stacey's!

i now paul very well

he did not really make the kits( from what i now with the conversations i had with him ) he added to them chris n was the only man who built kits apart from brian all the fins on the back are the same

kit 1 went to paul h but from what u say it does ring bells he broguht that kit and sold it to someone in the states
kit 2 went to chris p
kit 3 went to chris r

whats what i have in my records anyway and that car is the only kit that the pannels was damaged until keith built one lol

paul buys kit off bruce to sell around like i did but it dried up over here but the last few months a few poeple in europe have rang me to help them build more cars

Glen

I never said he made the complete kits, but he did make several components.

I don't think Chris N was involved in what "happened" to the rear section of my car....

The flux vents don't look the same, or even that similar. Plus I don't know what is going on with the Mr Fusion stand.....

I'd guess that "my" kit ended up on a Sirocco....

Glen: Kit 3 - is in France. What happened to 1 and 2? And what is on The Speakman's car? Who made Brians? What about Goldsmiths?

arranj wrote:Well, you'll have to forgive me. I'm a little bit rubbish with the history of my car, so I'm hoping some of you can shed some light on it 8-)

I bought this car in June 2005 from a car dealer near Hungerford. It was listed on eBay and Auto Trader.

Well you pipped me to the post on your car as I had already agreed to buy it from the dealer for Rob Williams... but you knobbled it

Chris N made 3 sets of BTTF stuff, excluding all the electronics. Paul Feagan and Chrispy each got a set, dunno about the third. Paul made lots of the internal stuff and after converting his car, he put it back to stock and sold a lot of the stuff to Martin Fillery... who didn't pay him. I'm not sure how much of Nik's car came from Paul but a lot of the interior stuff I believe.

Whilst in posession of MF's car, I spoke to Paul and he advised me in no uncertain terms to demand payment in cash.

Well I never knew that!

Obviously the guy wasn't going to reveal that to me 8-) I remember an email from Dave (when I bought some gas struts before I even bought the car!) when he said "the one we were previously going to buy but didn't". I seem to remember talk of walking away from a deal as well? but not too sure on that one.
So you mean my phone call to the guy made him "forget" about you then ?

So does anyone remember entering this competition? What did you have to do?

Well we'd taken money on the basis of buying that car, then it disappeared in your direction (which only the dealer knew!)

I took the budget in cash and thankfully persuaded another UK seller to part with his car for a tad less than it had been advertised for. It all worked out for the best - that car was and still is a very solid machine. The engine from it now powers Alistair around for example ;) And Rob and I have been friends ever since.
