I think the coolant bottle is original but I'm not 100% sure (well, it looks old enough to be).

Me and my Dad fitted the stainless engine cover grilles today, and I have to say, I'm a big fan of them! :)

We took 3078 for her MOT yesterday and she passed with flying colours, however we noticed something on the drive back home.

There appears to be a clicking noise coming from the front left wheel area when the engine revs, and the clicking is more frequent at higher revs. We believe it's the speedo cable but are unsure. If it is, how difficult of a fix is it?

Easy fix Tom.

It may actually be the lamda counter gearbox. I had it on mine, it's under the dash just above the pedals, unscrew the cables and take it out, dismantle and grease, then re-assemble. My "click" was gone. Also you can run some oil down the speedo cable to, while its out. 3 in 1 is best as its a light oil that will run down the cable better.

If it's your angle drive, unless its one that has a grease nipple, theres not much you can do with it as you cant get inside without damaging it. Mind you if thats clicking, you'd possibly have a jumping speedo

And last, you have checked the bleedin obvious......you havent got a stone stuck in your tyre tread have you ;)

Good luck.
