Looking great there. Nice louvre detailing too with the hook and stainless structure. How much heavier are the fibreglass fascias than the plastic ones? Difficult to get onto the car single handed I'd have thought!

Fairly hefty but not a problem to lift & carry. I've been taking the back off and on again without an issue. I left the front to Chris as it's tricky to line up.

What are you planning to do re the rubber strip down the side of the car? Putting one on or leaving without?

I am working on a surprise for that but not sure how it will turn out, if it doesn't work will revert to the standard strip.

but will replace the nasty lights and wheels with DeLorean ones (pending time & money).

More messing about with trailer bits as the DMC-12 is in the Netherlands at the moment.

More progress on the 'useless trailer' as RobvdVeer named it ;) Got the base firmly attached to the chassis.

The scale of the new series design is quite substantial, especially since the DeLorean is so low. Will have to be careful driving in crosswinds.

Slight problem with the hubcentric spacers, that I'm using to fit DeLorean front wheels to the trailer. The center hole diameter is correct on the inside but there's a flange on the outside rim with a smaller inner diameter, that blocks the hub from coming through. Will have to angle grind it off.
