Bloody hell :shock:

The whole thing will topple over when you go around a corner, or in a gust of wind.

I thought you were building it laying it down on it's side ??????

Most of the weight is in the base. I might add more ballast if it seems necessary. Crosswinds are an issue but not any worst than those A-frame advertising trailers.

There is looking silly and then just being ridiculous. :)

Oh.. I thought it was going to be an automotive trailer....
what the hell... Make a chemical craper out of it if you have nothing else in mind.
Would be a very useful gadget for motor shows where you stay for so many hours and all that beer needs to go somewhere. ;)

More progress on the Useless Trailer. Modifying the wheel arches to fit over the DeLorean fronts (step 1);

Image

Rear light towers under construction. Rear panel gradient is 3:1, should match the designed mounting inclination for the DeLorean tail lights. Making them in marine plywood + pine + MDF for now, hopefully will remake them in stainless eventually;

Roof is on;

Image

two of the three walls are up (accidentally cracked a window pane on the third, waiting for a replacement);

Image

and the critically important flashy thing on the top is flashing on command :)

There's no way that there will be room inside that for a DeLorean

I'll get my coat.

He can still add shelves and turn it into a mobile Delorean / BTTF / Dr. Who fan items selling trailer....

Or a chemical crapper as I proposed earlier! :dance:

Useless trailer is structurally complete and road legal.

Image

Still some detailing to do especially replace the rear light towers with something better finnished, preferably in stainless, but it can go to events like this as soon as I have a working tow car (still waiting on a bit to fix the VehiCROSS).

Branding is very important of course;

As is security;

Hope to go over to the Netherlands again to pick up my DMC-12 next month.
