I don't use scotch locks. I do sometimes use insulating tape on my soldered joints instead of proper heat shrink.

Engine cover is complete : stainless mesh replacements are from Just Bandits on this forum;



Coil pack cooling vent was added due to some people on forums saying the coils were bound to overheat, although I think it looks cool anyway;



Stainless labels on the underside. The bump for the vent means the standard cover stay won't work, will have to come up with something else.



Air scoops complete with stainless anti-leaves mesh;

Fascias primered ready for painting;





Decided the intercoolers needed more 80s bling i.e. stainless shrouds with some badges ripped off crashed Volvo 740 turbo-bricks



Test-fitting the top parts here, will have 2" strip welded around the inside edges (with cutouts for piping) and a brushed stainless finish.



Fibreglass dust everywhere, will clean up later.

Fascias painted and back on the car. Spoiler still needs a little detail work;



The engine cover has been reinforced with stainless and Chris has made a stainless hook to hang it from the louvres (which have also been reinforced).

Back end nearly done, including the folding stainless hook solution to support the engine cover from the louvres;



Unfortunately one of the stainless steel letters has gone missing somewhere in the workshop, should turn up eventually.

The front is less visually interesting but still Chris did a great job with the aligment;
