Wow Gez, that would have been good enough for a write up on an E-Mag ! Shows how quick you get the info from the forums online first.

My car is in for it's second stint at PJ Grady's, where Chris is busy sorting the frame out and a bunch of other things! Have a look at the pic for the state of the frame before he got to work...

My question to all you knowledgeable chaps is... there's a bunch of parts I need changing, are there any cheaper alternatives to buying them all from Ed?

Here's the list:

Steering rack bracket: 110089
Air con pipe: 110525
Brake flexi lines: 100459
Shock bolts: 101341
Fuel lines: 106979
Fuel line connectors: 106982
Fuel pump cover: 106684
Fuel boot: 101391
Fuel filter: 101643
Trailing arm bolts: 106883

Any thoughts?

106684 Fuel Pump cover is over here! ;) viewtopic.php?f=66&t=758 - we should be able to get it you for £25 delivered

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) you're better off with the brake lines and fuel lines from Martin ?

Alistair has a way of getting a cross referenced fuel filter for £9.80 plus postage (check with him) - and check with Nick who has the definate correct part number from his one that is installed and tested.

Cheers Arran!

Al, is what Arran says about your filter true?

Martin - what lines do you have, are they appropriate, and how much are they? :)

Nick or Martin will need to confirm that the Mahle cross reference in the "general-engine" parts section is definately correct for the filter.

Martin's TABs: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=711
Martin's Brake lines: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=416
Martin's Fuel lines with "built-in" fuel line connectors: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=409

I'm better than Google! ;)

I have Martins fuel and braided brake lines - very happy with them indeed, especially the fuel lines.

Well, perhaps... but I'm going along with Chris's advice on this really and he doesn't think it needs it so I'm good with that. What I'm perplexed about is how much the frame appears to have deteriorated since Lawrence took these pics after his work just 18 months ago... Why do you think this is?

BTW, thanks for the links Arran. Maybe I should use the search filter... :D
