the headlight mounting brackets were a little rusty, well, a lot rusty, too rusty to have blasted, there would be nothing left.
so I used acid dipping instead, its pretty cheap, but takes a while if the metal is really pitted. It works fantasticly on aluminium and carbs.

anyways, here we go, some pics for ya.


my vat isnt big enough, so I'll have to turn them round while one side is completed.

use a stiff brush to help out every so often.

here you can see, one side it starting to come back to good metal.

turning out to be pretty good :)

I have been sanding and brushing the rear right quater, its coming out pretty good, it had orbital sander marks in it.

But also skills. Way to go. Can't wait to see how you get along. The TVR seats look interesting in there.
