sand sand sand....

scraper on the left, sanded on the right...

Dents found in the roof, and holes punched, so the filler would stick... nice :S

Under the bonnet, its been sprayed with bed/trunk liner, but its scraping off ok to show the origional gloss black :)

Image

most of the paint is stripped, just the right hand rear quater panel to do :D

Image

gave the rear wing a quick buff up to see what it looks like :D

Image

Image

also lowered the front end :) much better indeed, needs to go lower all round though I recon :D

Image

Image

All the paint is gone now, just gotta strip the front and rear bumpers, and paint them up :D

Lowered all round now, need some shorter shocks or even maybee coilovers for the rear, they are threaded top mounting and an eyelet on the bottom. 40cm from top mount to lower bolt hole is what I need, maybee some vw beetle front shocks?

the front end still needs to come lower I recon, to give it a better stance.

TVR seats in there for now, they are really comfortable :D oh yesh, but I still like the idea of some ally kirkey seats in there

I've been putting the dash back together, as it was sorta together, but nothing plugged in, or bolted in fully. Thankfully its all complete and in pretty much mint condition :D

Image

you can see the wiper stalk is snapped, but I got another one to go on :D

Image

My mate Hannah, has been scraping off the spray-on trunk liner under the bonnet too.

Image

Image

Heres the fuel tank out, its full of crap, and I keep putting off cleaning it. stinky gone off petrol thats got hard bit in it :S

Image

Image

I found a bit of damage under the spray on bed liner, it had been fibreglassed over pretty badly, so I got the angle grinder out, ground it down, and a skim of filler :)

Image

Image

This is how low the car is now :D I'm not actually crosseyed, I was being silly and hannah took the pic... I didnt realise :S

Wow! Quite a project! :o Like the look, love the TVR seats! Are you brushing the stainless / filling the holes yourself?!

Yeah, i'll be welding up the holes and getting the dents out myself :)

apart from the passenger side door/roof.... the lower door is mint, but the roof has been hammered in by the bodyshop so the filler would stick,
Ideally i could do with finding a door with the lower half wrecked, so i can cut the upper skin off it and replace mine. :) anyone know of any wrecked doors about?

Yeah i really like the TVR seats, i bought them cheap off a mate, they were in pretty bad condition, but steaming and reworking them got them looking pretty good. I might get them dyed a bit darker to match the rest interior. :D
