Dan,

Well spotted! These blades have are almost completely made of rubber and do not contain the standard metal 'tree' construction. I got those at a local car parts shop. They were about a fiver each. I have the packaging somewere in the garage. I'll look it up tomorrow and let you know.

They lack a bit of tension though, because the right one (passenger side) doesn't fully touch the windscreen. I suppose some driving wind will push them closer so it isn't a real problem.
