Looking really good indeed. Have you decided about getting the frame acid dipped when its done?

I have tried Tig welding but couldn't get on with it, more practice needed. I only do Mig.

Yeah tig does take some getting used to, but it does provide a neater weld and gives better heat penetration. I don't think I'm going to get it dipped im going for blasting as the inside of the frame is like new, and I can get the blasting done up the road. Also I'm getting it galvanised im thinking.

Here is the first pictures of the before and after of the underside of my chassis. I've fabricated a whole new cross member with a complete new front end. Il be posting more pictures of when I first got the car.

Engine cradle is fine, slight rot patch near towing eye but nearly sorted that. So glad that front end has been remade, much improved over the original! Should have a side business of chassis restoration. Lol!
No bonnet was closed as the cable was broken lol so it couldn't of been opened for years! Don't know how it ever got this bad. Funny really, has been fun so far!
