I put a small split pin into the hole in mine. Just open it up a little so it can’t fall out, then as you drive & go over the inevitable bumps (aka pot holes) the pin ‘dances’ around & keeps the hole clean, thus avoiding re-blockage from debris :D

Thats a nice trick Ju, but I'd need a normous circlip given the 10mm drill bit I used!

No the split pin goes in ‘eye side down’ with the open end in the hole. Bend the two arms open a tad & if you think the eye might even pop back through the hole pop another split pin through it & open that up. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
