James Espey and Sarah at DMC Houston came up with some more history of #569 while I was visiting this month... acopy of the original windshield sticker and a chestnut fleet lease schedule dated 7th August 1981 when she was decommissioned as a DMCL company car.. :dmcdoors:

Well , with the nightmare of Covid gone .. and #569 grounded for 3 years.. I’m pleased to report after a new fuel pump / filter and fresh fuel 569 runs again at last..

Thank Arran , stainless fixings are awesome, new fuel pipes round engine bay and a clutch master cylinder / stainless pipe to fit.. and I should be ready to go back on the road ..

Yeah it has… got the car all nice and running in 2019 .. getting prepared for Belfast in 2021… then covid screwed that plan completely lol…

I've just been searching the web and came across this thread. My Dad owned this car back in around 2001. I remember him struggling to sell it because the market was dead for DeLorean's back then. I drove it a couple of times.
