First off,
I came across this site whilst doing a load of research which leads to this question....
I doing my own BTTF conversion of sorts of a delorean. I only have one rear left quarter panel, and I'm going to make an art piece of it (mount it on a frame, add the BTTF kit etc).
I've been looking around for parts, mainly the red capacitors, the slatted grille, and those weird hockey puck things, but to no real avail (I'm not familiar with casting/moulding parts).
Can I ask where people got their parts from, or if they made them themselves, if so, how would I got about the same (sizes would be nice
)? I saw bob's prop shop site, but in the picture it shows capacitors (well, they are made to look like poor examples imo) with two terminals, not 3 that's needed to make them screen accurate (according to the A car that's on display), plus they are V. expensive also....
As for the Grille, again bob's prop shop has a replica part, screen accurate, but the price advertised ($99) isn't the price the paypal basket shows ($199) so I'm put off from that.
