Time to properly introduce myself and my D. My name is Coen and I live in the southwestern part in the Netherlands.
Today i went to the harbor to pick up the Delorean. Imported it myself and bought it unseen so was a bit nervous today but the car did not disappoint! The stainless looks great , the frame is good and it runs and brakes ok.
I bought the car in New Jersey, I bought cars before in the Usa but this is my first D.
What does the blue paint dot on the engine ram horns mean. I think the red dot in the engine compartment is for the front end recall? Please correct my if wrong.
Let me know what you think about the car. I noticed a few easy to fix things and some adjustments needed. The po did not work on the car, he always took it to a mechanic.

Re your questions, I've not seen any blue or red dot codes on a DeLorean before. Maybe someone else on here has?

Red paint is the recall RA-0001 for the front stabiliser bar and ball joint nuts, and blue paint is the updated SC-03-1/82 recall for the same - i.e. they recalled the recalls
It just means it had new nuts - twice

You would have thought there was a more elegant way to mark the fact recalls had been performed than just splashing paint around the engine bay?! Why not put a dab of paint on the underside of the ARB where the recall was actually done?!
