Have already seen many of your post here and on the Dutch forum. Very helpfull. I might have a few questions when I start working on my door locks! Not that good with the electronic stuf.
I live in Zierikzee, not sure if there are any Deloreans left in this region, there used to 2 that I knew of.
Have had interest in a D for a long time, but I don't realy fit inside because I am tall. But last year I decided to buy on anyway!

Just shout if you have questions. Geen maar een brul als je vragen of verhalen hebt!

Today I took the rear calipers apart and cleaned them. Going to need new brake pads. On the hand brake one of the blocks came loose frome the metal plate it is glued to. So need a set of hand brake blocks. Then I removed the front tyres and had a nice suprise: almost new calipers an brake pads! Do need to replace the tie rod end rubber parts, they are torn. Looks like they are not that old, there is no paint on the metal. Also the rubber boot/ dust cover on the steering rack needs to be replaced both sides. The Lca's and sway bar could use some paint, but that has to wait, to cold for paint and the main goal is to get it MOT ready first. Need new brake hoses on the front and yesterday I removed the leaking clutch master cylinder. Time to order some parts now and move on with headlights modifications tomorow and remove the headliner.

Yes I did Rob, wanted to go to the spring event last year in April to look at the car's but had to go out of country for work that day... This year will be the same. Did read al the technical stuf on the forum.
When I was still looking for a D I was on DMC Talk most of the time.
Now the EuroTec forum is my bigest source of information with great respond from the members.

All the best,
Andy

Thanks Andy,
Yes I checked them for any signs of cracks after reading some horror story about them breaking.
Planning on boxing and powdercoating later.
