Hi Everyone,
About time to introduce myself and my car, my name is Gary and i live in Auckland New Zealand, i have been and still am a Mazda enthusiast but i've had to reduce my collection so i could get on with buying my last dream car.
Ever since seeing back to the future when it was first released i was fascinated with that car, so a couple of months ago i thought i would have a look around and see if i could buy one, i got on to a guy who told me of one down in the south island that might be for sale (i'm in the north)
so to keep it short, got on a plane, had a look

Hey Gary, welcome to the club! How many Ds are there in NZ? Is there much of a community?

thanks for the welcome guys, there's about 20ish in nz and about 3 or so in Auckland including mine but i'm no expert by any means, there is a good little community down south and they have a facefriend channel that goes well, but not much to speak of up here tho i have a great contact with the person that put me on to mine, he has turned his in to one of the most screen accurate and detailed bttf car's you will see.

Thanks for the very warm welcome everyone, the Mazda is my first collector car and will be with me till i die, it's a 1974 RX4 in totally original condition, kind of like the D that it needed a lot of mechanical work but other wise in great condition and complete, i can put up some pics if anybody wants me to and if thats ok
