in the way of an update. I'm halfway there with the front end. Oh how I hate springs.....

It's half a job. ordering nylocs and washers, etc next week. Got behind because of some POR15 work that needed to be done. No rust, but the epoxy was coming away from the frame so that had to be done. Still to sand and paint the sway bar and re-install. Probably going to be next weekend's job.

The sway bar looks to be going in at a weird angle here. Not sure what that's about. there's a bushing in there and it all fits together everywhere else...

Can't work out whether it's any lower than before. sure it must be.

A bit of progress over the last two months. One of the things that took up a lot of time was I tried to replace the brake master cylinder reservoir but then ended up replacing the cylinder (liquid coming from the seal end). Took two attempts, but the thing is in. Another hold up was that upon removal of the cylinder the epoxy had pulled away from the frame. No rust as such certainly no penetration in the fuel tank corner, but i had to drop the tank and chisel, sand and heat the epoxy off paint it with por 15 and then top coat it which took a few weekends. tank back in, cylinder and reservoir back in and hooked up. brakes bled. top banana.

Flexible hoses are in on all four corners.

New fuel hoses installed. Not sure about the routing of the top left cylinder hose. it's twisted as you can see. I'll have to take it off and re-jig it to see if it runs like the other 5. either that or the end was crimped differently.... Also the cold start vale hose pokes up. not sure whether it hits the engine bay cover. think it might miss. Not sure about any other routing I can use - suggestions? :shifty:

Rear dampeners are in too. yipee. :spax:

All photographs we taken by a trained photographer using a state of the art camera .

Just got to re-commision the fuel tank, re-jig the fuel line that looks squiffy reinstall the idle motor.

I've just ordered a new rad so that I can get coolant back in the system and fire it all up again.

New fuse box got installed over the weekend:

If you're wondering why a couple of the fuses are skew wiff, I'm blaming the moulding on the new box.

Just got to tape up the loom on the right of the box to make it a bit tidier.

Hi

Thanks very much. A few more bits left to do. Some interior parts to come back from Lee that'll need putting in,
New clutch line,
New speakers and stereo Power antenna and din bracket,
coolant hoses,
radiator,
fans.
Need to repaint the bumpers and louvers wheels need sorting out.

Plus I'm working up the courage to remove the transmission to investigate what I think is a main crank seal oil leak....

Plus one or two other bits
