Hi, I'm about to commence the resurrection of 5063. It came with a bunch of parts, some labeled, some not.

I'll start this thread with an "identity this part"- quiz, and fill you in on the project as we go along.

5063 sat for over 20 years. Frame is solid, interior not...

Engine turns over easily, but puked water all over.

I guess I'll start off with the brakes. Moving a car around with no brakes is super scary, since my driveway is not at all flat, and I need to shift my cars around from time to time.

I'll tear into the MC and one caliper first, to sample the state of things.

The pipe and valve opens and closes for the heater matrix sits at the back of the engine.

The injection thing is not an injection thing it sits under the intake in the coolant v pipe controls vacuum based on the coolant temp.

I'm cluless looks like the big black one is the plastic bit on the door that mates with the air vent. The smaller bit looks like the seal for the fuel level sender unit.

Shiny pipe is also part of the heater loop. St is under the intake between the water pump and the hose that goes to the matrix.

Another rubber seal might be for the air deflection plates under the car. Not sure.

No idea in the mystery brackets.

No idea about that thing might be the metal do Dar.

The clips on the left hold the injectors and seals down. The thing in the middle plugs a hole in the metering unit ontop of the engine in front of the fuel distributor. The bolt connects the fuel hoses to the injectors or dizzy.

Think that seal is the upper door seal between the top of the door and the t-piece in the roof of the car.

I might be right.

Looks like a lower door seal. The one that's on the bottom end of the door. Sits between the door and the sill. If it's the passenger side I'll buy it from you...

Sat for20 years? Guess whoever had it took care of it. Where are you located?

It was parked since rodents had a go at the wiring harness. 13k miles only.

I'm in Norway

The valley of my engine is empty, and after some cleaning, I'm ready to start rebuilding it.

In what order do I re-assemble things?

-waterpump
-coolant plumbing
-intake
-injectors
-fuel distributor
-fuel lines
-throttle body
-air metering assembly
-throttle linkage
-spark plugs
-plug wires
-distributor
-clutch slave
-engine wiring harness

that's just me randomly listing the things that come to mind (and what I have spares for ).

Any suggestions for an optimized list for order of assembly?

The smaller bracket goes under the center console.
Thanks for sharing your work!
