What Volvo piece are you referring to? The answer is most likely no. The only parts I have used so far are some screws and the sensor in the thermostat housing.

I’m installing a heater / air conditioner in my garage right now, and doing some home maintenance, but still some progress. The two hoses for the heater are replaced and the spark plugs installed. I’m waiting for some pieces to finish off the rest. In theory I could be ready to start the engine in a few days. So maybe this year?

Number 2 in that pic with the black connector is the connection for the diagnostic port ..
Very handy for telling you rpm , dwell etc
One part comes from the main loom and the other side comes out of the bottom of the diagnostic port which is located behind and to the left of the spark distributor , it's mounted to the rear of the left hand side head

The other white plug pic on the close up I'm not 100% on but I think it's the connector for the hot start relay via the cold start valve ..
